Vocal Harmonies Camp

Ear training, song structure, vocal harmonies, beatboxing, and group playing are all part of this 4-day-long summer workshop that acts as an introduction to traditional western harmony. Students will analyze classic rock and pop compositions of the past 60 years, learn how to shift them into an acapella format, and find their own voice in the process. Learn how groups like Pentatonix are able to capture every piece of instrumentation in a song through just the power of the human voice. Learn how groups like Queen, The Beatles, and The Beach Boys use the power of harmony to turn one root note into a colorful explosion of sound. This camp is designed for novice to moderate singers; not for beginners. Age range 12-18. The workshop is 4 days.
