Rookies Summer Camp '24 August 12, 2024 - August 16, 2024

Welcome to School of Rock Eden Prairie!

We're so excited that you'll be joining us for our Summer Rookies Camp taking place between Monday, 08/12/2024 - Friday, 08/16/2024! We will be emailing you more info as we get closer to camp dates. However, here's a brief summary of what to expect, and some general information about our school.

Rookies Camp

In this camp, 5-7 year old beginners will learn about different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and appreciation.

Weekly Camp Schedule

• Camp runs Monday - Friday, 11AM - 2PM each day
• Drop off is no earlier than 5-mins before the start of the day
• Pick up is no later than 5-mins after the end of the day
• Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games/activities
• There will be a performance for family and friends at the end of camp
  • Rookies performances can vary based off of the progress made throughout the week. If Rookies campers have progressed to the point of performing a song; they will join our Rock 101 campers and put on a show together!
  • However, if Rookies would benefit from a full day of group instruction on Friday; we will notify you via email on Thursday that Rookies will not be performing.

Friday Performance - (If Applicable)

On Friday, campers will put on a show and perform the songs they’ve been working on all week. This show will take place in The Clubhouse and will start promptly at 1:30PM. We encourage fans to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the performance. Feel free to invite plenty of family and friends. Also, don't forget to wear your most rockin' outfit!

What to Bring?

• Campers must bring their own lunch/snack each day
• Guitars will be provided
• Basses will be provided
• Microphones will be provided
• Drum sticks and Drum kits will be provided
• School of Rock Eden Prairie will provide one pair of ear plugs for each camper
• Additional pairs can be purchased for $2 if they are misplaced

Cancellation/Refund Policy

You may cancel your camp at any time. However, the refund amount depends on how far in advance you cancel/notify us:

One Month or More: Full Refund
Within One Month: 50% Refund
Within Two Weeks: 25% Refund
Within One Week: No Refund

If for any reason the camp is cancelled by the school, regardless of the date, you will receive a full refund immediately.

School of Rock Waiver

If you haven’t already, please sign your waivers on our School of Rock client portal - Pike13. This link edenprairie-sor.pike13.com will take you to the log-in page. In your Pike13 account, you can update your child's personal information, view invoices, manage payment information, etc. If your child has any allergies or medication needs, please inform our staff by email edenprairie@schoolofrock.com.

Free Trial/Yearly Program

Is your student new to their instrument, and wants to try it out before camp? Come on in for a free 30 MIN trial lesson or 60 MIN Rookies class, and tour! In addition, we offer year-round programs for students of all ages, and we waive our $100 registration fee for campers! For more information and to schedule a trial; please visit our Program's page.
